Melissa “Frenchie” French, co-owner of Bee Kind Studio, is the heart behind our day-to-day operations as Studio Manager and Director of Client Relations. As our salon has grown, so has her role—leading, supporting, and guiding our team while making sure every client experience feels seamless, thoughtful, and genuinely cared for.
With over a decade of industry experience, Frenchie brings a grounded, people-first approach to everything she does. She’s deeply committed to creating a space where both clients and artists feel supported, heard, and valued. From coaching our team to strengthening the culture of the salon, she plays a huge role in what makes Bee Kind feel the way it does.
Frenchie is also our go-to for all things mental health and wellness. She believes that showing up as your best self starts with taking care of yourself first, and she leads by example in the way she moves through both work and life.
Outside of the studio, you’ll find her nourishing her body with delicious vegan food, decorating sugar cookies , and filling her cup with her partner AJ (the structural creator behind Bee Kind) and daughter, Kiera. She also loves unwinding with Animal Crossing, baking something sweet, or getting cozy with a Disney movie.
